"The Art of Creating a Comfortable and High-Performance Indoor Climate"

This motto, which we introduced more than 25 years ago, continues to inspire us today to address some of the most complex and pressing challenges in modern construction — ensuring high indoor air quality and developing environmentally and energy-efficient technologies for systems that create comfortable living environments and the conditions required for technological processes.

For many years, through our work, we have advocated the importance of ensuring high indoor air quality as one of the key factors affecting the comfort and quality of our lives.

This is particularly important considering that, in industrialized countries, people spend up to 90% of their lives in indoor environments, where the indoor climate directly affects their well-being.

Modern European integration processes and the inherent right of Ukrainian society to live according to international standards are fully embraced by our highly qualified and technically experienced team. When implementing our projects, our priorities include compliance with the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD), the Action Plan for Energy Efficiency — “Realising the Potential” (2006), as well as relevant European Parliament and Council directives on the energy performance of buildings and other international legislative instruments, particularly those strengthening controls on the use of ozone-depleting substances, including the regulation that entered into force in the EU in 2024.

Under the conditions of Russia’s armed aggression and its impact on the military-industrial sector, key high-tech processes increasingly need to be relocated to protected structures and shelters, while shelters also need to provide suitable conditions for industrial personnel and civilians.

Therefore, we currently regard the energy efficiency of modern systems and equipment across many industrial sectors and manufacturing processes as a key aspect of our energy independence and, consequently, Ukraine’s resilience and defense capability.

Our group of companies — Budivelno-Montazhnyi Kompleks “Energomontazhventilyatsiya” (BMK “EMV”), Inzhkom LLC, BUD-Aktiv LLC, Allat Construction LLC, and the Design Bureau of Innovative Projects (KBIP) — was established through the division and restructuring of the joint-stock company Energomontazhventilyatsiya (EMV), where I, as its founder and co-founder, served as Chairman of the Board from the company’s establishment in 1998.

Today, we continue to maintain and apply our accumulated professional expertise and experience across all areas of construction. Our employees are professionally qualified to carry out research and development, design and engineering, construction and installation, and specialized engineering works for buildings and facilities of various types. Our capabilities also include the manufacture and supply of technological and engineering equipment, commissioning, service and technical maintenance, and general contracting.

To provide a comprehensive range of services, our divisions include dedicated design and engineering and technical departments; construction, installation, and commissioning teams; manufacturing workshops for ventilation and plumbing products, uPVC windows, and metal structures; a procurement and logistics department; and warehouses for products, equipment, and components.

Our high level of expertise and professionalism has been in demand for a number of major projects in Ukraine and abroad involving the creation of comfortable and high-performance indoor climates and energy-efficient systems.

These projects include, in particular, facilities prepared for the final stage of the UEFA European Football Championship 2012, including the NSC Olimpiyskiy Stadium in Kyiv, Arena Lviv, international airport terminals in Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Lviv, the Palace of Sports in Kyiv, as well as a number of newly built and renovated hotels.

In the industrial sector, we participated in the development of unique “clean” manufacturing technologies for solar panels at a semiconductor plant in Zaporizhzhia, as well as projects within the Chornobyl Exclusion Zone.

As a general designer and contractor, BMK “EMV” participates in the construction, reconstruction, and modernization of facilities operated by the State Enterprise Ukraerorukh, including the improvement of systems critical to the safety of air traffic operations.

We have also carried out significant volumes of work for the pharmaceutical industry, healthcare facilities, hotels, and retail and shopping and entertainment complexes.

Since 2022, however, our expertise and capabilities have increasingly focused on projects aimed at improving working conditions and supporting technological processes in the industrial and defense sector.

These efforts primarily involve the development of environmentally safe and energy-efficient integrated systems for the combined generation of heating and cooling media to support industrial technologies and indoor climate control systems in underground structures and protective shelters.
